Park Commission

Park Commission

The Village of Greenville Park Commission is a seven member citizen committee and meets approximately once a month. The Commission works on planning park improvements in our three Village parks.

The Park Commission is in charge of all the parks, trails and open space in the Village of Greenville. Commissioners are citizen members and are appointed by the Village Board for overlapping, staggered, seven-year terms. Duties include park planning, budget recommendations to the Village Board, setting policies and regulations and receiving citizen input.

Park Commission meetings are held at the Greenville Village Hall on the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm. During the summer months the meetings may be held in one of the parks. There is not a meeting held during the month of December.
